If you haven’t got Adobe® AIR™ installed on your computer, the 'Install now' link to install both Adobe® AIR™ runtime and the Wishawish Tree on your computer (it will ask your permission first). Click the 'Install Now' link above to download and install it for FREE and you can start collecting all the Ecards you get this year. What is the Wishawish Tree and what can it do? What other options do I have? What is the Wishawish Tree and what can it do? The Wishawish Tree is a free desktop application. Once you install it on your computer it will sit on your desktop, look like a tree, and act like a window, so you can move and drag it around your desktop. You can choose what it looks like- It has 3 different designs to choose from Decorate it- Choose from 30 different decorations to click and drag onto your tree Most importantly- Hang your Ecards on it! You can drag and drop your Ecard from the internet or just add them manually (See – how do I add an Ecard) When you hang and Ecard you can choose what it will look like (there are 10 different designs) You can also write who sent it to you, the web address of the Ecard and a short description of what’s in the Ecard Hover over an Ecard to see all its details, Double click and Ecard and it will open in its full glory in your browser. Resize everything to fit your needs- The tree, the decorations, the Ecards. The screen will connect to Adobe flash, then it will inform you that “ Installing this application requires Adobe AIR, which will also be downloaded and installed” Click 'Yes'. A pop-up screen will appear saying “ getting ready to install this application…” Seconds later it will be replaced with another screen asking “ Are you sure you want to install this application to your computer?” Click 'Install'. *Don’t be alarmed by the Publisher and System access notices- to become a recognised publisher you need to pay hundreds of dollars every year, and since we only develop this one little free app, it doesn’t make sense to pay so much money, especially since you can download this application directly from the adobe website and they make sure everything on their site is virus free, fully working, genuine and passes their quality control You can find us on their website here- http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/exchange/index.cfm?event=extensionDetail&loc=en_us&extid=1701522 A new pop-up will appear with the applications description and 'Installation Preferences' Leave everything ticked and click 'Continue'. The Adobe® AIR™ licence agreement will pop up, Click 'I Agree'. Then your Wishawish Tree will install and the last pop-up called Wishawish Tree will come up with the loading bar for ‘ Installing the application…’ After that your little desktop icon should appear and your tree will sparkle into life. How do I add an Ecard? You can add and Ecard to the Wishawish Tree in three ways: 1. Drag your Ecards favicon onto the tree A Favicon in the little icon sitting to the left of an address in the address bar in your browser. Simply click drag it and drop it onto your tree 2. Click the add button 3. Right click the tree and choose ‘Add Ecard’ How do I decorate it? Either click the decorate button Or right click the tree and select – ‘add decoration’ A pop-up screen with all the decorations will come up. Simply drag a decoration onto the tree and drop it where you want it to be. You can always move it once it is on the tree, and get rid of it by right-clicking it and choosing ‘remove’. How do I change the tree? Click the settings button or, right click the tree and select ‘Change tree’. How do I resize the tree? Right click what ever you want to resize ( Decoration or Ecard) and choose- ‘Increase’ or ‘Decrease'. If you want to resize the tree, right click it, choose 'Resize tree' and then choose ‘increase’ or ‘decrease’. Reset will bring the tree back to its original size. How do I make the tree sparkle? Click the settings button and select- ‘Show sparkle’ Please note- this option is great if you have a fast computer, if your computer is a bit old or slowish, this might slow it down even more. What other options do I have? Right click the tree, the decoration or the Ecards to get to their ‘personal’ menus. In the settings popup (which you get by clicking the settings button ) You can choose: Load at start up If you leave this checked, your tree will load up automatically when you switch on your computer. Uncheck it, and it will only load when you double click its desktop icon Enable Ecard Rollover Leave checked to see an Ecard’s details when you rollover it. Uncheck and your Ecards will not have a rollover popup, but will still open in a browser when you double click them.   Show Sparkle Adds some sparkle to your tree when checked. Please note- this option is great if you have a fast computer, if your computer is a bit old or slow, this might slow it down even more. Always on top When checked, your tree will always be on top of all other windows. Have fun!!!
